Congratulations to the winners of the third annual outsourcing relationship management “RMMY” Awards!
On November 16, 2010, the Outsourcing Institute and Vantage Partners announced the winners of the 2010 Outsourcing Relationship Management Awards – the RMMYs. Over 25 leading outsourcing providers applied for the awards, the first ever program specifically to recognize the investment by service providers in the management of outsourcing relationships.
This year, to uncover the great work of many providers and showcase some of the smaller players in the market, the RMMY Team decided that two providers would be named winners of “Best in Show” (one small- to mid-sized provider (≤ $400 million in annual revenue) and one large provider (> $400 million in annual revenue). Six winners were selected:
HCL Technologies received two awards: “The Few, the Proud, the RMs” for Best Enabled Relationship/Account Managers, and “Ain't No Valley of Despair Here” for Best Transition Process
Siemens IT Solutions and Services was awarded “You Expect What You Inspect” for Best Performance Management Process
Xerox and Procter & Gamble were awarded winners of “Dynamic Duo” for Best Partnership
Intelligroup was awarded“Best in Show” Small- to Mid-sized Provider for Best Overall Relationship Management Capability
Infosys was awarded “Best in Show” – Large Provider for Best Overall Relationship Management Capability
Vantage Partners and the Outsourcing Institute established the RMMY Awards in 2008 to broaden the dialogue about the importance of outsourcing relationship management in achieving value, and to raise the bar for the industry. “While most buyers and providers have come to recognize how much relationship management matters, not everyone has invested in developing the skills, processes, tools, and metrics needed to manage relationships effectively,” said Danny Ertel, a founding partner of Vantage Partners. “The RMMYs give us a chance to recognize providers who are setting the bar for the industry when it comes to relationship management.”
the way providers do. But providers, as professional service organizations serving multiple customers, are in a unique position to lead the way.”
Winners will be formally honored at an award ceremony as part of the Outsourcing Institute’s “Outsourcing Relationship Management and Governance Best Practices Roadshow” on December 1, 2010, at the New York offices of Holland & Knight. They will also be promoted to the Outsourcing Institute’s network via Happenings Bulletins and webinars throughout 2011 and be showcased on www.outsourcing.com.
